Get started
Run a “Hello World” and make our first Jev API call.
Explore
Recreate a couple of use cases to understand what’s possible.
Build
Apply what we’ve learned to a small app or experiment of our own.
Before you come
- A laptop and charger. Plus a mobile hotspot if you have one.
- A TypeSafe account with API credits. Create one at typesafe.ai and buy credits before Saturday — you cover your own usage.
- Your API key and coding setup ready to go.
- Some coding experience and a basic understanding of APIs. Read a little about Jev beforehand; you don’t need to have used it.
Claude Code, Codex and other AI coding tools are welcome. Use whatever stack you like — Vercel and Supabase if you want to put something live.
Why this session
I’ve been reading about Jev but haven’t tried it yet. So I’m bringing together a small group of curious builders to get hands-on, try ideas, and learn from each other.
Buddy, our support bot, sits in the WhatsApp group with the Jev documentation and example use cases loaded, for questions and troubleshooting while you build. Afterwards we collect everyone’s projects on a shared showcase page — unfinished experiments included. What you tried and learned is worth sharing.
